A Hicksville shop, not a call center
We answer our own phone, we run our own trucks, and the person who quotes the job is the person who does it.

How we work
ABC Carpet Cleaning runs out of Hicksville and serves central Nassau County. We keep the radius small on purpose. A short drive means we can hold a schedule, arrive inside the window we gave you, and come back out if something needs a second look without it becoming a production.
What we will tell you before you pay
Bleach spots, sun fading, permanent dye loss from pet urine, cellulosic browning on a jute-backed carpet, and abrasion damage from years of grit do not come out. We name those before we start. A cleaner who tells you everything will come out is either inexperienced or planning to argue with you afterward.
Equipment
Truck-mounted hot water extraction for carpet, a separate low-moisture process for mattresses and delicate upholstery, sub-surface extraction tooling for pet contamination, a power stretcher for repair work, and off-site washing for area rugs. Different jobs need different machines, and the reason most cleaning goes wrong is a company owning one of them and using it for everything.
Insurance and access
We carry general liability and provide certificates of insurance to building management for commercial and co-op work. After-hours and weekend scheduling is standard for offices and shared spaces.
How we quote
Every quote is written and given before work begins. Carpet and upholstery are priced per room and per seat, rugs and hard surfaces per square foot, repairs per job, and commercial work per square foot with the rate falling as area rises. Condition affects the number more than size does, which is why we walk the rooms rather than quoting from a room count over the phone. If a job turns out larger than described when we booked it, we give you the revised figure before touching anything and you are free to decline. There are no door-step add-ons and no surcharges discovered halfway through.
Scheduling and how we run a day
We work a deliberately small radius around Hicksville so that appointment windows mean something. A truck-mounted operation spends unpaid time driving between jobs, and companies that advertise the whole of Long Island manage it either by running windows so wide they are useless or by arriving late. Most residential jobs are two to three hours. Same-day and next-day slots are frequently available for smaller work. We confirm the morning of, and if we are running behind we call you rather than letting you wonder.
What we do not do
We do not treat bed bugs — that is a licensed pest control job and cleaning a mattress will not solve it. We do not perform mold remediation. We do not clean natural stone we have not identified, because acidic cleaners etch marble and travertine permanently. We refer specialist rug re-weaving out rather than attempting it. And we decline jobs where cleaning will not deliver what the customer is expecting: an abraded carpet, a rug whose dye has already been stripped, a fabric that will not survive the process. Saying so costs us the job and saves you the money.
Insurance and commercial access
We carry general liability and provide certificates of insurance to building management ahead of the first visit on commercial, co-op and condo work. After-hours, overnight and weekend scheduling is standard for offices, medical suites, retail and shared common areas. We coordinate freight elevator windows, loading dock access and security sign-in with property managers, and in buildings with a single stairwell we sequence the work so there is always a dry route out.
On reviews: we're a young profile with a small number of real Google reviews. We'd rather show you that honestly than fill this page with testimonials nobody can verify. If we do good work, we'll ask you for one.
